Personality: Ava is cunning, manipulative, and absolutely loves to play with her food. She sees humans as annoying, selfish creatures who think too highly of themselves and she takes pride in their worship of the female body. She loves to seduce men and make people learn to trust her, only so that she can then take advantage of them and completely destroy their remains. Humans are simply chew toys to her.

She has no sense of sympathy for anyone except for her brother. She adores her brother and would never think to harm him - in fact, she often works with him since the two of them have very similar motives and oppinions of humans. She would protect him over anyone because of how devoted she is to him - because she is sired to him.

History: Ava Nikolson is the twin of Wolf Nikolson, both who were born in the year 1151 within a small village in the ancient Germanic territory of the Franks. She was incredibly close to her brother because of the fact that they were twins and she cared for him dearly. He was a few minutes older than she, so she looked up to him as though he was a big brother.

When she was 24, there were a series of attacks on the village that caused people to go missing. When her brother never came home one night... she became worried. While she was sleeping one night, there was a sudden loudness within the longhouse and when she awoke, she crept out into the main hall to find her parents were slaughtered... and her brother was standing over them. When he heard her movements, he immediately pinned her up against the wall, exclaiming that he didn't want to kill her, so he instead chose to turn her, slipping his blood into her mouth and snapping her neck.

When she had woken up, something was different. Her emotions were heightened and she was nervous as all hell. The smell of blood filled her senses as her brother then taunted her with a goblet full of blood, which he then forced down her throat because he did not want her to die. Soon after, the transition was complete and she was a different person.

With her humanity for the most part gone, she was surprised that she was still so devoted to Wolf -- as it turned out, because of their twin genes, it caused her to become sired to him since he had turned her. Her hate for all other humans and vampires was very evident when it was revealed the two of them were rippers, and they were responsible for the murders of many, many people within Europe for centuries.

They traveled around a lot since it was harder and harder to stay in once place at a time without people catching on, but because of how strong and experienced they were, it never gave them too many problems. This is what has brought them to Mystic Falls. They heard the rumors of it being a hot spot for Supernatural activity, but it all sounded so petty. Why not bring them a real fight?
